After painting, relax in the privacy of the tranquil gardens or swimming pool and gaze down upon the fields of sunflowers, working farms, ancient villages, buildings and the distant mythical Montagne Noir (Black Mountain hideout for the Cathars and their castles). Enjoy the local wildlife with soaring buzzards, hoopoes and mischievous hares. Ease into a gentle cycle in the sun, stopping at small village cafes to sample the favourite French pastime of unhurried coffee, chat and relaxation.
