Albi Day - The medieval city on the banks of the River Tarn
Holiday day in Albi gives us the opportunity to realise the importance of drawing as a base for our watercolour painting. We can achieve this in a place that lets us select simple or more complex subjects, from the cathedral to the old bridges that cross the River Tarn. Each subject is bathed in the strong southern light and shadows provide an impressionist dream of strong dark tones and vibrant contrasting light. |
