How your Painting holiday works

Arrive on Sunday afternoon and meet the other guests over a barbecue (included in the price) at 7.00pm.

Breakfast is provided for all guests and is an opportunity for everyone to get together. Usually served on the main terrace, we will offer fresh fruit, croissant, cereal, crusty bread, delicious local honey, yoghurt and home made preserves. This will be a chance for Allan to brief artists on the day ahead and will give non-painters opportunity to arrange a walk, cycle game of golf etc. Non-painters are equally welcome to accompany painters to local villages or simply relax in the garden or swimming pool. We have a couple of bikes and a set of golf clubs we can lend to guests. We will inform you of local events like night markets, music and festivals where occasion arises.

If you're painting you receive tuition from Allan Kirk, a qualified teacher and artist. A full exciting programme is provided for painters and there are plenty of activities for non-painters.

Leave your worries at home. Relax, paint, walk, cycle and discover a different way of life and a beautiful landscape.

Artists - develop a passion for painting impressionist watercolours. Non-painters - try your hand at watercolour for a day for just 60 euros including all materials.

In addition to the welcome barbecue, you can enjoy two optional evening Table d'Hote meals, prepare your own food or eat in local restaurants, the nearest being three kilometres from our home Transport can be arranged at a small cost. More details on our food page.

We say goodbye on Saturday, and hopefully, see you next year. You may wish to leave straight after breakfast, but we can highly recommend a trip to the renowned Revel Market and you are welcome to leave your caravan or motorhome in our garden until you get back.

Guest Comments

I had been looking forward to this holiday ever since I booked it and it's not only lived up to my expectations, it has surpassed them. Fantastic week, so thank you both so much.
